District permission slips

There are 2 (two) district-run activities each year for the incoming 6th grade;

The Skate Party and Olympic Day.  Both permission slips for district activities must be signed by parents and returned to 6^th-grade activities chairs via the front office or emailed to Megan Carter by Friday, Sep 6.

YOUR STUDENT will NOT be able to attend either of these events if they do not have both forms completed and returned to the school or Megan Carter.

Classroom parties, final-year activities, and teacher gifts

Click here to pay for 6th-grade activities with classrooms and the district, including a t-shirt, Muffins with Ma'ams, Donuts with Dudes, and classroom parties. Payments are due by Friday, Sep 6th. 

6th Grade Events

Monday, October 28 at 6:00 pm: District Skate Night at Beechmont Rollarena

Friday, March 28 at 8:15 am: Muffins with Ma'ams. 6th graders invite their favorite gal for a breakfast treat.

Monday, April 28: Donuts with Dudes. 6th graders invite their favorite guy for a breakfast treat.

Thursday, March 6th: 6th Grade Family Open House Night at Nagel Time TBD p.m. 

Friday, May 2: 6th grade Olympics. Students participate in fun activities with other Forest Hills elementary schools. This is during the school day and not typically attended by parent spectators. Rain date is Friday, May 9th, 2025.

Thursday, MAY 29:  Grade Promotion Ceremony 6:00 pm at Turpin High School. Cookies will be served following the ceremony! 

Yearbook

The 6th grade gets special attention in the yearbook with baby pictures, Love Lines, and special messages to your child— More information to come regarding this fun tradition for our 6^th graders!

Vaccinations for 7th grade

The Ohio Department of Health determines the immunizations required for school attendance. 7^th-grade students are required to receive 2 vaccines before entry:

• One dose of meningococcal vaccine
• One dose of Tdap vaccine on or after the 10th birthday
